Kevin Smith For Injustice… Wait, What?

Kevin Smith stars in the latest ad for Injustice, and it's not as lame as celebrity endorsements often are.

There are a certain set of emotions that most of us feel when we hear certain combinations of words.  ‘Celebrity endorsement’ is one such combination of words.  It happens all too often that  a famous individual pitches a product/place/idea/whatever and leaves audiences more certain they like getting paid more than they actually care about the product they are ostensibly enjoying.  NetherRealm Studios found a good person for Injustice: Gods Among Us.

The new TV ad for the game shows Kevin Smith and his friend Jason Mewes engaging in several rounds of a conversation most of us comic nerds have had at some point or another: who would win in a fight?  They decide to throw down on Injustice to decide.  The ad is short, cute, and stars people who actually are long-time fans of the comics the game is based on.

The main question this trailer raises is much different from most celebrity commercials.  Why were there no games capable of solving these arguments when I was growing up?
