Kickstarter Created for Crysis Board Game

German game studio Frame6 is partnering with game developer Crytek to make to a tabletop edition of Crysis. A Kickstarter has been created to turn the first-person shooter game into a tabletop adaptation called Crysis Analogue Edition-The Board Game. Currently the Kickstarter has made $28,789 out of its goal of $94,851. Crytek has provided source material for the game and helped with the Quality Assurance.

Crysis is a first-person shooter game, that takes place in a future where an ancient space alien structure was discovered. The player assumes the role of U.S. Army Delta Force solider Jake Dunn who is also known as Nomad. Nomad has a Nanosuit and various futuristic weapons.

The tabletop game is a strategy game that plays 2 to 8 people. Crysis Analogue Edition-The Board Game features two game modes such as Team Instant Action, and Capture the Relay. The Kickstarter is open right now till June 13.
