Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris has gone gold and will be ready to ship next month as scheduled on December 9th. When a game “goes gold’ it simply means that the development cycle is complete and a master copy is off to the manufacturer to be replicated and distributed. With the condition so many games are launched in (I’m looking at you Unity) and the extensive patching that goes into them afterwards, the term means little more than it’s on it’s way to consumers.
Crystal Dynamics celebrated by releasing this new developer video that goes into a little more depth on some of the puzzles you and up to three other friends will be tasked with solving in Temple of Osiris. The video shows off the return of the grappling hooks from Tomb Raider: Guardian of Light which can now be attached to other players, significantly opening up the opportunities to use them, and touches on how the puzzles and boss fights scale up and down depending on the number of players.
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on December 9th.
