League of Legends NA Summer Finals to be held in Toronto

It’s about time Riot Games showed love to their fans up north. The League of Legends 2016 NA Summer Split Finals will be coming to Toronto, Ontario. Fans can watch the final showdown unfold at the Air Canada Centre on August 2728

Air Canada Centre

The 2016 NA Summer Finals will be held here at the Air Canada Centre.

The North American League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) has been heralded for being one of the finer eSports scenes. With huge sponsorships and a wide array of amazing talent, this split is more competitive than ever. And while the teams will all be competing for the chance to win the championship title, they’ll also be fighting for a spot to represent North America at the League of Legends 2016 World Championship.

Based on the previous split, the following teams have the following points:

  • Counter Logic Gaming (CLG) – 90 points
  • Team Solomid (TSM) – 70 points
  • Immortals (IMT) – 50 points
  • Team Liquid (TL) – 30 points
  • Cloud9 (C9) – 10 points
  • NRG Esports (NRG) – 10 points
  • Echo Fox (FOX) – 0 points
  • Team Envy (NV) – 0 points
  • Phoenix1 Esports (P1) – 0 points
  • Apex Gaming (APX) – 0 points

At the end of the Summer Split playoffs, the top four teams with the most amount of points will duke it out on-stage at the Air Canada Centre. The 1st place team will get the opportunity to represent NA at Worlds 2016.
