Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens drops today, allowing fans of the Star Wars saga a chance to relive Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens in quirky LEGO fashion.
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens breaks new ground for the series, as it not only retells the story of Episode VII, but delivers exclusive story content that expands on plot points the film never touched on. Take on the role of the legendary Outer Rim space pirate, the Crimson Corsair, as he foils the First Order’s plans. Explore the backstory of Jakku’s mysterious explorer and ally to the Jedi, Lor San Tekka. Help Poe Dameron rescue Admiral Ackbar who is captured by the First Order, despite his above average ability to detect traps.
For folks who would like to dive even deeper into the events surrounding Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, there will be an accompanying season pass available that will further explore key moments from the film with additional level packs, along with character packs that expand the already massive roster of the galaxy’s most famous force wielders, bounty hunters, and droids.
The Season Pass is available for $9.99 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. It includes an exclusive “Jedi Character Pack” which is available today. In addition to the the standard edition of the game, priced at $59.99, there is also a Deluxe Edition of the game available for $69.99 on PS4 and Xbox One. This edition includes the season pass, an exclusive LEGO Finn minifigure, collectible 3D graphic art, and grants players early access to “The Empire Strikes Back” character pack.
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS, PlayStation Vita, and PC. PlayStation 4 and PS3 owners will get treated to exclusive DLC, including the Droid Character Pack and Phantom Limb Level Pack.
