Yesterday, during their E3 2017 Treehouse presentation, Nintendo revealed that a remake of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, titled Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions, would be coming to the Nintendo 3DS.
The original Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2003, and was the first installment in the long-running Mario & Luigi turn-based RPG series by developer Alpha Dream.
This remake seems to promise a faithful adaptation of the original, complete with a graphical upgrade based on the style of the previous installments Dream Team and Paper Jam. minor gameplay tweaks made since the original. The remake will feature gameplay tweaks, as well as a new mode titled Bowser’s Minions, and a mode with new tactical battle elements.
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions is planned for release on Nintendo 3DS on October 6.
