Disney Infinity 2.0 is getting more and more populated with newer Disney characters. That’s right – Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy (GoG) will be joining the Disney Infinity 2.0 realm this fall, according to Polygon.com. Gamora, Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord, Rocket, Drax, and Groot are the newest ‘playset’, full of action, adventure, and conflict. Ronan, a villain who seeks to take down the GoG team and then some, stirs up trouble in the game, leaving it up to players to take him down using the Guardians.
According to Marvel.com, only Star-Lord and Gamora will be included with the playset as figurines while the other three Guardians will be sold separately. That doesn’t mean that having only two of the five GoG characters will make the game any less fun. The Guardians will be a part of the ‘Toy Box’ feature of Disney Infinity, which means that players can “make [their] own worlds, create games with [their] own rules, or build places that only exist in [their imaginations]”, according to the official Disney Infinity website. The in-game virtual world is vast, exciting and ever-changing as players battle enemies and make it their own. It’s a great family game and it’s getting better and better as the year goes on!
