Capcom has announced that Mega Man Legacy Collection 2, a follow up to Mega Man Legacy Collection, will be released this August. Picking up where the previous collection left off, this new release will contain Mega Man 7 through 10.
Challenge modes will be available for each game, allowing you to re-tackle levels in time attack modes, or do other fun things like face off against difficult Boss Rush stages. This comes in addition to a museum — a compendium of Mega Man history for each game — and a music player option, giving you access to the games’ soundtracks for your listening pleasure. For players new to the series, first-timer options have been added — offering checkpoint reloads and extra armor to make your first play just a little bit easier.
Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 will be available digitally for $20 USD on PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC starting August 8, 2017. There is no news about a release for the Nintendo Switch at this time.
