Future Konami games are possibly coming to PC, not just consoles. This is due to “solid PC download sales of METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES for Steam” (according to the recent financial results released on February 5th, 2015).
What does this mean future games for PC?
…who doesn’t like new, well made, and great games?
A company will often only offer games on a platform when they know said game will sell, otherwise it’s just a waste of time, resources, and money. Due to Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes selling well, this could mean good new for PC gamers, and not just because they get more games. If the quality of the MGSV:GZ port is anything to go by, they will get well-optimized games also. And who doesn’t like new, well-made, and great games?
Silent Hills
This could mean that the PS4 exclusive, Silent Hills, may make its way to PC later down the line. This is not out of the ordinary for Konami – just look at MGS. The once-PlayStation-exclusive franchise is now on many different platforms. I, for one, welcome this, as it diversifies the line up of games on all platforms and brings new fans into already great franchises.
