New Item to Approach League of Legends

On the League of Legends, there is discussion on an item to be worked into the recipes for both Banshee’s Veil and Spirit Visage. This new item is Spectre’s Cowl.

Built from Negatron Cloak and Ruby Crystal, the new item presents a middle ground purchase that is a very efficient item for both laning phase and for when mid-game team-fights roll around. While the stats on the item alone make it very gold efficient, the passive does wonders for health sustain amidst skirmishes against opponents.

Other Changes as a Result

Banshee’s Veil may see a change in its build and item stats, removing Sapphire Crystal as a component. This serves as a direct nerf to a couple champions who love to get a Banshee’s Veil at one point in their build, both of them being Ryze and Singed. This reduces the bonus damage and bonus health they would both be getting from the additional mana from Sapphire Crystal’s component. I personal think that Banshee’s Veil however is still a major item for either of them to build in the right scenario, IE: opponent burst and/or “catch” champions with targeted hard crowd control.
