The Mario Kart 8 race track pole will light up with more racers from new DLC, Nintendo UK Store announced. But this time, they will not all be coming from the Mushroom Kingdom.

In addition to new racers being featured in two new add-on packs, Nintendo will also include vehicles and two new cups with four courses on each DLC.

Mario Kart 8 Pack 1 will allow players to choose characters such as Link from Zelda, Tanooki Mario, and Cat Peach. They can also select from four extra vehicles racing throughout eight courses. One of those go-karts will be F-Zero’s Blue Falcon.

The second pack will be released in May and includes Villager, Isabelle, and Dry Bowser, bundled with the same amount of vehicles and courses as Pack 1.  Some of the courses forthcoming will take racers through settings in The Legend of Zelda and Animal Crossing.

Nintendo’s announcement comes days after they were on the receiving end of Ubisoft’s Tweet expressing their opinion on the Mario Kart 8 Mercedes Benz DLC. Ubisoft eventually deleted their tweet warning Nintendo their replica european models would “ruin” the magic, and apologized for their remark.
