Naughty Dog is giving fans of The Last of Us a reason to jump back into the game’s multiplayer mode. In the upcoming 1.03 update for The Last of Us, Naughty Dog is making some balancing adjustments to the multiplayer and adding a brand new multiplayer mode called Interrogation.
Interrogation will bring a more tactical approach to multiplayer experience. The goal of Interrogation is to raid the enemy’s secret lockbox. To do this, you must interrogate five of your opponents. Interrogations will take longer than executions, leaving you open to attacks for a longer period. Once you’re done interrogating, you’re off to crack the safe.
In addition to Interrogation, the patch will also add the following balances to the multiplayer:
- Increased range when reviving teammates
- Rebalanced item bin locations
- Execution animations can now be halted
- Item spawn balancing
- Matchmaking improvements
Oh, and did I mention that the update is completely free? Get ready to jump back into The Last of Us‘ multiplayer, because it sounds like a pretty good time to me.
