Oh, Square Enix, why do you tease us so? We see Lara Croft, an icon of our childhood, fighting the baddies, and we can’t help but want this game, now! What will it take to get you to just take our money?

As you can see, Tomb Raider released a new video giving us more of the story surrounding Lara Croft’s crash on a mysterious island. After being captured and helping an injured pilot, it’s Lara’s job to track down the rest of the aircraft’s passengers. Obviously, it will be up to you to help Lara find her friends and defeat the island’s inhabitants.

The video hints at difficult choices to make along the way. Will it be up to you who lives and who dies? That sounds like and interesting turn for Square Enix, whose games tend to be pretty straight-forward storytelling.

Unfortunately, we will have to wait until March 5th, 2013, to experience this game, but thankfully, players on Xbox 360s, PS3s, and PCs will all be able to jump in on the same date.
