Mordheim: City of the Damned unveiled a new overview trailer this week to get fans pumped for the video game’s full release in early November, and boy does it deliver! Already a board game by the same name (Mordheim), Mordheim: City of the Damned seeks to blend traditional RPG elements, quick tactics combat, and unique unit customization in a world riddled with war and death.

Set in Warhammer World’s decimated Empire City, players chose from four ruthless Warbands and fight against bitter rivals for key neighborhoods and valuable Wyrdstone fragments. The single player campaign follows the stories of each Warband as players use stealth, magic, trickery, and brute strength to impose their dominance. Players can take their troops online to challenge others in multiplayer combat across huge maps with unique map-specific modifiers.

Mordheim: City of the Damned has been open to Early Access players for several months as they work out the intricate gameplay, and is still seeking players willing to give their two cents before the game’s full release. The game’s developers blog about their progress regularly and are active in the forums, fielding questions and feedback as they get closer to release.
