Legendary Entertainment has released a new trailer for the much-anticipated Warcraft movie, which is due to hit theaters this summer. The trailer showcases the struggle between the Orcish Horde and the Alliance, featuring many of the main characters in the movie.
The Warcraft movie, set for worldwide release on June 10, has been a long time in the making. The film was originally announced in 2006, and has taken a decade to take shape. However, with Duncan Jones (Source Code, Moon) as the director, most fans seem to believe it will be worth the wait.
The movie stars Travis Fimmel (Vikings, Baytown Outlaws) as Anduin Lothar, Paula Patton (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, 2 Guns, Deja Vu) as Garona, Ben Foster (3:10 to Yuma, The Mechanic) as Medivh, and the veteran actor Clancy Brown (Shawshank Redemption, Highlander) as Blackhand. Certainly a star-studded line-up, the movie is bound to bring out the best of the best from the Warcraft universe.
And for those curious about the music in the trailer, this is what Duncan Jones had to say on the topic:
For those asking, no… music in the movie is not dubstep. It’s magnificent Ramin score!
