NieR Reincarnation is the first game in the Nier franchise to make its way onto mobile devices, and fans in select regions can now start pre-registering for the game ahead of its launch. The game will launch on July 28 in North America, Europe, and Korea.
The game will be released on both iOS and Android, though Android players pre-registering on the Google Play Store could potentially participate in a closed beta for the game. Players will be selected at random, so keep a watchful eye to see if you’ve been chosen when the time comes.
Those interested can pre-register on the official NieR Reincarnation website. Square said that pre-registration is open in 33 regions, including the U.S., Canada, U.K., and Ireland.
Square also said that “by reaching 300,000 pre-registrants, all players will receive 3,000 gems upon the game’s release, allowing them to complete one 10x Summon for free.”

The trailer above showcases NieR Reincarnation‘s excellent visual style, complemented by intense turn-based combat and a mysterious and intriguing story. It’s an entirely new story set within the NieR universe, and it looks to be shaping up as a worthwhile expansion of that world.
NieR Reincarnation was announced in summer 2020, and Square shared a gameplay trailer then that provides another look at the game in action.
For those looking to adventure through the NieR universe on console, NieR Replicant, a remaster of the original NieR, recently released. We said “it improves on almost all aspects to offer something for both newcomers and veterans alike.” You can read the full review here.
