The first mobile game in the Animal Crossing franchise has been revealed during a recent Nintendo Direct presentation. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp was first teased in early 2016, but is now confirmed for a November release on mobile devices.

In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, players manager their own campsites, which they can fully customize and upgrade with furniture and other amenities, such as swings and pools. Furniture can be crafted by gathering collectibles throughout the Pocket Camp world and from visiting other campsites, while amenities can be commissioned after collecting a certain number of materials through in-game actions, such as completing NPC quests.

Decorating and improving the campsite helps players increase their friendship levels with animals, which is a new feature for the series. Different animals will have different furniture and amenity preferences, so building a wide variety of each will only attract a more diverse set of animals to a player’s campsite.

In addition to finding collectibles and materials in the Pocket Camp world, players will also be able to buy certain items and increase build times with in-game currency called Leaf Tickets. Players will be able to both earn Tickets through play or buy them from the Pocket Camp shop with real-world money.

Players will also find that in addition to being able to fully customize their characters, they also have access to a fully customizable camper. This mobile home will not only be a bragging right, but it will also help them get around the game world faster — and in style.

Pocket Camp will feature a multiplayer element where players can share their game IDs and visit each other’s camp, giving kudos based on the furniture and amenities the other player has built.

Returning elements include fishing, Kicks, paying mortgages, Timmy and Tommy Nook, and the Able Sisters. You can watch the 15-minute showcase here (skip ahead to 29:50 for the beginning of the presentation).
