Nintendo Direct Broadcast Highlights – New Challenger, Mario Golf and Much More

Some amazing gaming news has been released through the Nintendo Direct broadcast today. New games will be available through the Wii U and 3DS, and some old ones will be making a comeback.

During the Nintendo Direct broadcast today announcing games for Spring release, Nintendo came up with news about the upcoming Super Smash Bros. that will début on the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Along with that news is a new Yoshi’s Island trailer, and some games coming to the 3DS that will knock your socks off.

Welcome aboard, Little Mac!

A new challenger has approached and hit the Super Smash Bros. character list. You can welcome Little Mac to the list and punch your way through enemies. His special moves are currently known, but Nintendo has released a video showing off his rockin’ moves.

3DS Kirby: Triple Deluxe

Time to enjoy some Kirby time in this new 3DS game that will test your gaming skills. In this Kirby: Triple Deluxe game you’ll have new abilities never seen before with Kirby. With Kirby’s vivid graphics this game will make rainbows come to life.

 

 

 

Mario Golf World Tour

Another game hitting shelves for the Nintendo 3DS is Mario Golf World Tour. With this comical mischief game, the whole gang is back again, and this time they’re ready to hit the 18-hole. You’ll also have the opportunity to import your Mii character to the game to give it just a bit more personal feel.

 

 

 

 NES Remix 2 Hits Wii U eShop

This great game will be hitting the eShop, but with a twist. In this new game the original oldies such as The Adventure of Link and Super Mario Bros. 3 will be made with a twist to bring this old-timey games into the present. Play your favorite levels in a new way: from right to left instead of left to right. In this new challenge you’ll find it not only invigorating, but a bit daring.

 

New Mario Kart 8 Trailer and Release Date

For the first time in any Mario Kart game the Koopalings will be available for character choice. You get to feel like the bad guy while racing as Bowser’s children for the first time. As well, the launch date for Mario Kart 8 will be for May 30th, 2014 for the Wii U. They’ve done well with this game bringing anti-gravity into the play, and also some new vehicles to race with.

Yoshi’s Island – New Trailer!

A new trailer has been released for the anticipation of Yoshi’s New Island for the 3DS. Many details have leaked about the new Yoshi game including a 3DS XL bundle that is in the works all Yoshi themed. Hopefully out west we’ll get our hands on the bundle.  Virtual Console for Wii U

A new addition to the Wii U Virtual Console will be some select Game Boy Advanced games. One game announced today that will be available is Metroid Fusion. These will be bought through the Wii U eShop for unknown amounts.
