Over A Million Deaths In Dark Souls 2

Ever wonder just how hard Dark Souls 2 is? Well this might shed some light for you: In less than 48 hours, there has been over 1.2 million deaths in Dark Souls 2 worldwide. That is more than a megadeath, no not the thrash metal band. A megadeath is a million death’s caused by a nuclear explosion.

There is a monument in Dark Souls 2, at the northern coast of Majula. This monument shows exactly how many deaths have taken place in the game so far. Right now it reads 1,277,682. I’m proud to say that I contributed at least 20 deaths to that massive number. Oh, there it goes again: 1,277,687. Five more deaths have taken place in Dark Souls 2 since writing that last sentence. 

How many times have you died in Dark Souls 2 so far? I managed to die seven times on the first enemy in the game. That giant cyclops troll kept on kicking my teeth in.
