Passes and badges for Penny Arcade’s PAX East 2018 show are now available for purchase on the PAX East Registration page here.
Single day passes cost $53, and if you want to bring your own computer and have a set space to play games over the PAX local network, you can pay an extra $40 to do just that. This upcoming year’s show runs from April 5 through April 9, marking the first time it spans a full four days.
The PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) conventions focus on all things related to gaming culture. PAX East in particular has been one of the most popular gaming conventions since it first began in 2010, holding discussions on various topics in the industry and developer Q&A sessions, letting attendees go hands-on with some of the most anticipated titles of the season, competitions and, of course, hosting plenty of reveals.
This year’s schedule includes Hearthstone and Call of Duty 3 competitions, discussions about the healing power of video games and the role of games in education, and a Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age panel, to name just a few. Those with children may be happy to know that there will even be some child-friendly events, such as The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes competition. You can check out the full lineup here, if you’re interested.
If you find you simply can’t wait until April, you can purchase PAX merchandise, including a blanket ($40), a dice set ($40), and socks ($25) with your badge orders, and the merchandise will ship prior to the expo.
