Remember when I said that the Wii U wasn’t doing too well. Looks like it is making a turn for the better with the help of Pikmin 3!
This week’s Media Create software and hardware sales are in from Japan, and Pikmin 3 is helping the Wii U make a comeback. Pikmin 3 – released only a couple of days ago – has sold almost 93,000 copies, beating out games like the new 3DS title Yokai Watch by about 39,000 copies.
Since Pikmin 3 is doing so well we are seeing an incredible boost in Wii U sales. Wii U sales have doubled from last week, at 22,000. Since this is only pertains to Japan, hopefully we can see some improvements in Wii U sales in other countries as well.
