Well folks, another trailer has surfaced for Pokémon X and Y. The trailer premiered in Japanese movie theaters along with the newest Pokémon movie, Extremespeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens.

At first glance, the trailer doesn’t show us anything incredibly new; just a few looks and already confirmed features for the game and a few new move animations.  However, during one of the flashes of the new Swarm battle feature, we get a brief glimpse of a Pokémon that sort of looks like a tree with few leaves. The Japanese name of this creature appears to be Aurotto, though there is no word on what its name will be outside of Japan. It looks like it could be a Grass/Dark type, though there’s no way to really know that until it is officially announced.

Apart from that, we get a new look at the Swarm Battle, Sky Battle, and Poké-Amie features. The Sky Battle shot is pretty awesome and features Charizard tossing a Fire Blast at a Flygon. We get a few looks at the starter selection screen, new glimpses of some of the things we’ll find in towns and on Routes, and at the end of the trailer we get a shot at the signature moves of the legendaries. Mewtwo’s Awakened Form, Xerneas, and Yveltal each show off a new move, and they all look pretty awesome.
