The demo will be available on the Playstation Starting October 1. European movie goers, I mean European gamers will have to wait an extra day, until October second. However some gamers will be able to get their hands on the demo early, on September 24th.

Beyond is the first game to star Ellen Page as Ellen Page with psychic powers, I mean Jodie Holmes, a girl with psychic powers and Willem Dafoe as Nathan Dawkins a government scientist and surrogate father figure to Jodie.

According to a post on the Playstation blog the demo will feature two scenes from the final game.

“Jodie & Aiden: Join a very young Jodie as she takes part in an experiment at the Department of Paranormal Activities. As officials put her abilities to the test, you take charge of a mysterious, invisible entity.
Hunted: Skip forward a number of years and help Jodie escape the clutches of government agents as the mysterious entity unleashes its truly astonishing powers.”

Premiering at the Tribbeca Film Festival Quantic Dream is really, really, really trying to convince people that this is more than just a game, it’s a movie.
