  • Unlock weapons, perks, equipment, and Scorestreaks
  • Over 7 multiplayer modes
  • Over 3 maps
  • 8 multiplayer specialists
  • Weapon customization
  • Paintshop

This sounds like quite a bit for a multiplayer beta. I’m not sure if they are looking to test weapon and game mode balance, use it as a marketing ploy to boost up preorders, or to test to make sure that the servers will be able to handle the huge influx of players on the first day. I wouldn’t be too surprised if it’s the last as it seems that every game launched this generation has had a rocky start when it comes to server stability.

All of these will be accessible in the beta for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. However it will be the PlayStation 4 that gets the beta first as they revealed that it will be available beginning August 19th.
