RIFT Re-Launches and It’s Launch Day All Over Again

RIFT, a Massively Multiplayer Roleplaying Game from Trion has officially relaunched as free to play and with it comes a mass onslaught of new and returning players.

What does this mean for those wanting to play the game? Queues.

A fantastic ordeal for Trion means a long wait time for players but Trion assures that they are working over time this weekend checking out the possibility of adding new shards (servers) and expanding current shards to better handle the influx.

So are you thinking about downloading RIFT? As a level 50 player (stopped playing before the insanely large expansion), I know I am! My only suggestion is that you might wait until after the weekend…. unless hour queues are your thing.
