Riot Games announced a few weeks ago that they were going to update the way champions were priced in League of Legends. Some of those changes have already gone live. The champions that were initially reduced at the announcement actually were, and the RP prices of all the champions in the game were immediately updated to follow the new pricing scheme, resulting in increases and decreases across the board.
Now we have our first word on what champions are going to be reduced in price over the coming months. With the next three champion releases Yorick, then Leona, then Wukong will all have their cost reduced from 6300 IP down to 4800. In addition, with the next champion release, Udyr will also decrease in price from 3150 ip to 1350.
One thing for summoners to note: since these price changes have been announced ahead of time by Riot Games, there will not be any refunds for the price difference for any purchases of these champions before they reduce in price.
These champions each fill their roles solidly, depending on team composition. Watch for their new prices coming soon to the League of Legends.
