It was huge, rude, crude and oh so much fun.
But if you missed out, you might be able to pick up a special, jam-packed edition, which will supposedly be available soon.
According to an Amazon listing, gamers in Europe can expect a special Saints Row IV “Game of the Century Edition,” which will boast all the previously released downloadable and Season Pass content. This includes Enter the Dominatrix and How the Saints Saved Christmas mission packs, along with a host of ability upgrades, vehicles, and weapon packs (Stone Age DLC among them).
There’s no knowing if this special package will come state-side, but chances are, it will. We should anticipate at least some version of the “Game of the Century Edition” and if you’re wondering, yes, the title fits the overarching ego of the game. I do believe a video game can have an ego and Saints Row IV‘s ego tops ’em all.
What do you think of these “Game of-” editions?
They’re pretty common these days. I was just wondering what everyone thought of the practice of releasing Game of the Year Editions (even for games that never won such an award from any reputable source). On the one hand, it’s a great way for consumers to catch up; after all, we can’t play everything we want the instant it comes out. On the other hand, it almost gives us incentive to wait… doesn’t it?
