Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate is out for the PlayStation Vita tomorrow, July 26. It is developed by Chunsoft and published in America by Aksys Games, and is the fifth main game in the Shiren the Wanderer series.
Players take the role of Shiren the wanderer, who is followed by Koppa the talking weasel. The two explore the Tower of Fortune, which is said to be inhabited by a god that can change a person’s fate.
The game is a 2D rouge-like RPG where players explore randomized dungeons, fight monsters, and find treasure and equipment. Dying will cause the player to reset to level 1 and lose all their items, and the dungeon changes. There is also a multiplayer mode where you can either battle your friends or work together with them to conquer the difficult dungeons.
