Those waiting for a Skyrim sequel will have to wait just a little bit longer.
Skyrim has sold 20 million copies already and the sales are only getting better so it’s no mystery as to why fans are wondering if the game will receive a sequel. However, Pete Hines, marketing executive of Bethesda said that the team is currently very focused on Fallout 4 so it’ll be a “very long time” before the team can talk about what they’re going to be developing next.
For now, fans will have to wait for the upcoming release of Fallout 4, which will be launching in November for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 as well as The Elder Scrolls Legends.
At the moment however, it’ll be awhile for us to hear any word about a sequel. The only word we’ll be hearing about is Fallout 4’s, which was stated to be basically done back when it was announced at E3.
