With the release of Destiny just a week away, Sony is trickling out its exclusive content that will be available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3

Two different maps have been released in the past couple days. First, a video walkthrough of the Exodus Blue map was released on the PlayStation Blog. The map is specific to 3-on-3 or 6-on-6 multiplayer matches, and it’s available in five different game modes.

Like Bungie’s previous works, Exodus Blue is built with intricate exteriors and set before gorgeous backdrops. The map supports five different game modes (Skirmish, Control, Salvage, Clash, and Rumble) and has been designed with all three Guardian classes in mind.

The other map, Dust Palace, is specific for the Strike game mode. PlayStation Blog’s video walkthrough gives a good explanation of how the game mode plays.

Maps aren’t the only thing that will be exclusive in the PlayStation versions of Destiny. There are three different types of gear sets — one for each class. There’s the Manifold Seeker armor for the Warlock, Vanir armor for the Titan, and Argus for the Hunter.

There are two exclusive weapons, and both of them look very cool from the photos and videos. There’s the Monte Carlo, an exotic assault rifle, and the Hawkmoon, an exotic hand cannon. The Monte Carlo works best in close range combat with great hip fire accuracy. Based on how players use the Hawkmoon, some bullets that land could be more effective than others.

Finally, there are three different player ships: Aurora WakeCrypt Hammer, and Outrageous Fortune.

There’s a lot of exclusivity for those picking Destiny up on a PlayStation platform. All of this is a timed exclusive, and Sony has announced that it will only available on their systems until next fall.
