The annual Spike Video Game Awards — now known as VGX because acronyms are cooler — officially announced its 2013 nominees today. The list is led by name video games hits like BioShock Infinite, Grand Theft Auto 5, The Last of Us and Tomb Raider.
VGX will be available via live-stream for three hours, starting at 6pm ET/3PM PT on December 7. The show will switch up the old format by focusing on interviews and next-gen demos, as well as the inevitable world-premiere game trailers designed to blow your mind.
