On Friday, Square Enix revealed a “secret DLC” for Final Fantasy XV that not many fans were expecting.
During a special Assassin’s Festival in Lestallum, Noctis and his friends will be able to dress up and enjoy playing Final Fantasy using the mechanics of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. The trailer (above) revealed that much like Ezio, Noctis can balance on the top of buildings, take enemies out by jumping from behind, and leap into a craftily placed hay bale. Stealth elements are also included as you appear to be battling Loki — who you last saw in the “Declaration of War” story quest.
Fans who managed to collect the Dream Egg with the previous DLC, the Moogle Chocobo Carnival, will be rewarded with the Master Assassin’s Robes. If you’ve not collected this yet, you have until the end of September to unlock this outfit. The free content will be available to download on Friday, August 31.
