Attention all Final Fantasy fans! The first day of E3 is expected to have exciting announcements for you!
A Final Fantasy Event being held at E3 has just been confirmed today by Square Enix. The event will be called “The Future of Final Fantasy,” and is expected to be held on Tuesday, June 11th. Final Fantasy brand director, Shinji Hashimoto, is also scheduled to make an appearance during a “special Q&A session” being held at the event.
Even though the announcement for the new Final Fantasy game for Playstation 4 was back in February, speculation continues to stir around which game is actually in development.
Is this a Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Final Fantasy XV, a spin-off of a previous game, or is it something completely new?
The current platform scheduled for the newest edition of the Final Fantasy series is the Playstation 4. It’s implied that this new title will utilize Square Enix’s next-gen Luminous engine, though nothing has been officially confirmed.
More news on this development may be announced at Sony’s E3 2013 Press Conference on Monday, June 10th at 6:00pm PST.
Let’s hope Square Enix has some exciting details to share for us during these E3 events. What do you want the next Final Fantasy game to be?
