The trailer for Iron from Ice, the first episode in Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series premiered only ten days ago, with the promise that the episode was “coming soon.”
Earlier this week, Telltale Games made an announcement on Twitter, proving that they are living up to the “coming soon” promise. According to the Tweet, the first release for Iron from Ice is just a few days away. Telltale Games also announced the launch trailer release for December 1st, the day before Iron from Ice releases.
Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series takes place in the world of Westeros created by author George R. R. Martin in his series A Song of Ice and Fire, which was made into a television series by HBO. The game was made with permission from both HBO and Martin, and Martin even promoted it on his blog.
According to Martin, the Telltale series “is centered around House Forrester, bannermen to the Starks of Winterfell whose seat [is] in the wolfswood” and “will be a sort of side story to the show (and books).”
Iron from Ice releases December 2nd for PC and Mac, and for PS4 in North America. The Xbox One, Xbox 360, and European PS4 versions release on December 3rd, and the iOS version releases on the 4th.
