“The Deer God” Leaps Into Being A Successful Kickstarter

The Deer God has truly impressed funders over at Kickstarter because it has been fully funded by the gaming community! For those who didn’t read the interview that I did on the game, The Deer God is about a hunter who dies and becomes the thing he once hunted. Now he is a deer in nature, trying to survive and do so much more.

Josh Presseisen:There’s more to it than just surviving, but that is the basic idea. You were a human, and you’d like to be human again – you are on a search to figure out how to make that happen.

During this search, you will find out much more about how nature works.

The game was already Greenlit on Steam and with the Kickstarter funded it should help bring it to it’s full potential. With the game being fully funded and Green lighted the game can only get better from there. The Deer God‘s Stretch goals mentions the release on other consoles as well as full customization for your deer.

Which is a good potential feature considering that deer is what you will be playing as for most of the game.  There is just six days left in the Kickstarter which gives access to the Alpha and Beta tests of the game including a DRM free copy of the game when it comes out.  Keep on the look out for The Deer God leaping to your computers, January 2015.
