The Impossible Game has arrived on Steam thanks to the Greenlight Community–they have spoken. It has been a long five-year journey for the indie developer, FlukeDude. TIG started out on Xbox Live Arcade, became a best-seller, then moved on to other platforms such as PSN, App Store and Play Store.
Before you buy, you can try it a lite version here. If you do decide to purchase it on Steam, now is the best time. It is on offer at £3.19 / $3.99.
What do you get from playing The Impossible Game, other than a severe case of potty mouth? Well, you get to listen to a heart pounding techno beat, dry eye lids, blisters on your fingers, and a worn down space bar.
What does the community think?
I took to the Steam community to find out how they were getting on with the freshly released game. I am in shock to see people with four hours gameplay and no requests for medical aid in sight; check out their comments below.
After the first few fails you feel that you now got the jump mastered. You’re not 100 attempts into the level. You’re determined to beat this level if it kills you. Finally, after 1,000 tries, you make it over that final triple spike and you beat the level. It feels like you have just won an olympic gold medal and the millions are chanting your name
