For those that don’t know about the game yet, The Last of Us focuses on two characters, Joel and Ellie. The game offers players a unique and special experience unlike that of other games in that we get a detailed look into the lives of each of the characters. By the end of the game, you form a deep connection with each character, which is almost movie-like.

The game itself is due to release June 14th, 2013. Developed by Naughty Dog, it was announced during the presentation that Naughty Dog has now created two of the highest-rated games of all time.

During the presentation, Tretton announced that The Last Of Us was the highest rated game on all platforms for 2012-2013. It is also a candidate for Game of The Year. This announcement only heightens the excitement for gamers all over the world anxiously awaiting the arrival of the game later this month.
