If you’ve been chomping at the bit to get into Ubisoft’s The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, you won’t have to wait much longer to give the castle-ransacking game a try. 1,000 closed beta keys are going out this Wednesday and the game’s official open beta begins February 25th.

The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is Ubisoft’s most recent foray into the world of free to play PC games. While there certainly are some aspects of the game sped up by spending real money, it can be enjoyed just as thoroughly without spending a dime. It is also super fun for those who like ARPG-style dungeon crawling and devious dungeon building.

Along with the open beta announcement are the confirmations on two particular additions the closed beta community has clamored over for months: Open Creation mode and the game’s fourth class, the ace-wielding Runaway.

The release dates for these much-anticipated additions to haven’t yet been announced, but one can assume they will be coming along with the remaining “lots and lots” of new features after The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot enters open beta February 25th.
