The Sims 4: Cottage Teaches Sims to Farm on July 22

The Sims 4: Cottage Living expansion brings some much-needed features this summer.

The Sims 4 is about to get its next expansion pack. EA has announced The Sims 4: Cottage Living, a DLC that adds a different sort of pace for players of Maxis’ simulation game.

The Sims 4: Cottage Living is scheduled for release on July 22 and true to the “expansion” moniker over the “pack” one, it will include new features and locations. Notably, it will include foraging, growing crops, and even raising livestock such as cows, llama, and chickens for a variety of materials to both make meals or arts and crafts.

Producer Antonio Romeo claims the expansion will allow players to “live their garden-to-table lifestyle,” and players will be able to place their Sims in a new cozy village named Henford-on-Bagley.

Those who play The Sims 4 on PC won’t be ahead of those who choose to play it on console this time. The Sims 4: Cottage Living will release simultaneously on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S this summer for $39.99 on each platform.

Are you looking forward to giving Cottage Living a go? Let us know in the comments below! It’s definitely what I needed to get back into The Sims 4.
