The publishing company made their official announcement for the game on Twitter just the other day:

The 5-part episodic game has already been released in the form of digital downloads for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita, as well as PC. Though the game has maintained substantial popularity across all platforms, its PC download version has seen particularly high success thus far.

With the news of an additional boxed release, now all of the aforementioned systems will be able to play the via hard retail copies.

The game stays canonically true to its predecessor, the comic book series Fables, and acts as a prequel to the events dispersed throughout the series.

Following up after the retail platform releases of The Walking Dead, here’s hoping that the overall success of The Wolf Among Us will follow suit.
