Looking for an action packed arcade-style independent game for your summer? This helicopter shooter is now available on Steam, and is coming soon to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

The game boasts 13 missions and the ability to protect oil platforms and destroying chemical plants as a part of an elite force of helicopter pilots known as the Thunder Wolves. According to the official press release, the Thunder Wolves are the “best and most daring helicopter pilots” in the world, and are “up for anything.”

Thunder Wolves promises death defying in game stunts, unique arsenals, destructible environments, and local co-op so you can play as a pilot/gunner duo with a friend. The game has several different mission types, including escorts, seek and destroy missions, and stealth operations. While some have called it out for being “on rails,” you are typically allowed the freedom to move around the mission area.

The game is made by Hungarian development studio Most Wanted Entertainment, a casual game development company, but don’t let that dissuade you. Some players have likened it to a Tom Clancy novel, and a spiritual successor of the Genesis Strike series. The game is available now on Steam for around $15.
