PAX Prime is set to take place this weekend in Seattle, WA, and word recently reached us that Turtle Beach is going to have a trade-in program at their booth.

If you’re the sort of person who loves a Black Friday grapple for the last five dollar 2,000 inch plasma flatscreen coffee maker, grab your rickety old headset and read on–because Turtle Beach is about to rock your PAX.

Gamers who bring in an old headset may be eligible to trade in for a brand new XP SEVEN, which comes in at a whooping $280.

They’re only giving away 100 of these bad boys, so those of you heading to PAX who are interested in grabbing one should be the first in the door on Saturday, August 31st.

*It looks so soft… Like having your ears hugged by an angel with excellent sound quality.*

Certain restrictions apply, so make sure that your old headset is…

  • Stereo- or surround sound
  • Not a chat-only communicator
  • An actual headset and not a pair of earbuds
  • Not a Turtle Beach brand headset (must be a competitor brand)

Only one trade-in will be allowed per person, and headsets will be given away on a first-come first-serve basis. Be sure to make a beeline straight for their booth!
