Available as a free-to-play title on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, World of Warships Blitz aims to bring the strategic action of the PC MMO to the palm of your hand. The game features seven vs. seven naval combat in what Wargaming mobile says is “rapid-fire action.” Compared to the larger teams found in the game’s PC counterpart, the smaller teams found in WoWs Blitz will complement the game’s smaller maps, which, according to Wargaming Mobile, are designed for both fun and historical accuracy.

Players will also find that many of the ships found in WoWs Blitz, such as the USS North Carolina, the USS Iowa, and more, bring to mobile devices the historical authenticity found in the PC version of World of Warships. Focusing on naval combat from the early 20th Century, WoWs Blitz currently features four of the most prominent naval powers from that time period: Japan, the United States, the U.S.S.R., and Germany. Each of these powers has unique ships and features that look to mirror some of the gameplay elements found in World of Warships.

Wargaming Mobile opened its doors in June 2017. The developer currently produces WoWs Blitz, World of Tanks Blitz, and Gods and Glory.
