Time is winding down until we get the next patch and there are a ton of awesome new mounts in coming in World of Warcraft patch 5.4. The following is a list of all the currently released mounts along with how to get them, if said information has been released yet.
The Vicious Skeletal Warhorse and Vicious Warsaber are both obtained via PvP. It has not been said whether they are a purchase or earned yet or not, but in order to be eligible for these mounts, a player must have won 100 3v3 Arena games along with 40 rated battlegrounds. These mounts are meant for true PvPers.
This mount, called the Sky Golem, is essentially a flying Goblin Shredder. It’s a mount that can be made by the Engineering profession, but can be mounted by anyone. This is probably my most anticipated entry on the list.
In order to obtain this bad boy, you are going to have to do a lot of work. 30 Living Steels and 30 Stabilized Lightning Sources. So, if you want to save some effort, start saving up those Living Steels now.
Look at this elegant son-of-a-bird. No information on how to obtain the Stormcrown has been released yet, but it’s quite possible that it won’t be released in WoW 5.4. Some speculate that it might be a store mount or even something that will be released in the next expansion.
Warlocks of the world, rejoice. We are getting green fire versions of our current mounts. Not much has been released in terms of information on these. They might replace your original class mounts if you have green fire, which is unlikely. More likely, they will be mounts you get after obtaining fel fire.
The Kor’kron Juggernaut is a 100% drop on heroic Garrosh. When 6.0 gets released, it will be obtainable at a greatly reduced drop rate.
The Kor’kron Proto-Drake hasn’t had its method of obtaining it released yet. It could be assumed that it’s another raid drop.
The Kor’kron War Wolf will be obtainable by both Alliance and Horde players, giving Alliance a chance at getting a wolf. It is done by completing the achievement Ahead of the Curve: Garrosh Hellscream, either 10 or 25-man versions. All you need to do is defeat Garrosh on normal mode in WoW 5.4.
