In patch 5.3, there were quite a few changes to Orgrimmar, Razor Hill, and Sen’Jin Village. In World of Warcraft patch 5.4, there are a bunch of serious, devastating changes coming to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, as well as some changes to Orgrimmar and Razor Hill again to reflect the war. Check out the changes courtesy of MMO-Champion.
The most noticeable difference in the middle of the Vale is that the Golden Pagoda has been destroyed. This means that there will no longer be a hub to get the Golden Lotus dailies from meaning no more Golden Lotus dailies! If you have not reached exalted with this faction, now is the time to do so.
The destruction done to the Vale is obviously terrible. It’s a bummer that one of the most beautiful areas in the game has had to suffer. However, it’s great that the team has changed the world to reflect what’s going on in the lore. It says something to their credit when a lot of players are upset that one of their favorite areas has been destroyed in the lore.
Not only has the Vale in Pandaria changed, but so, too, has Razor Hill and Orgrimmar in Durotar. In 5.3, the Vol’jin’s forces helped take Razor Hill. In WoW patch 5.4, both Vol’jin and Baine are now situated inside of Razor Hill along with a sizable chunk of their forces.
Meanwhile in Orgrimmar, Kor’kron forces have been increased significantly. Even when entering the city, the player has to swim through their ranks.
In 5.3, Gamon was fighting off 5 different guards at the same time. Unfortunately, in WoW 5.4, it looks like he’s finally been subdued.
All in all, the changes in World of Warcraft patch 5.4 are sure to get players excited for the Siege of Orgrimmar raid. All I know is I can’t wait to see that achievement pop up when my raid party kills Garrosh.
