WoW 5.4: Fire-God of the Yaungol Ordos

Ordos is the (literally) hot world boss coming to Warcraft in patch 5.4.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria has had a few interesting world bosses thrown in it. Players have been beating on the Sha of Anger, Nalak, Oondasta, and Galleon for some while now. Blizzard is continuing this trend by adding in another baddie for players to crush in patch 5.4: Ordos.

Ordos was, at one point, a Yaungol shaman. In exchange for demigodhood, he sacrificed himself via burning in order to please the Fire Lords. However, this caused him to burn eternally, causing him to constantly be in pain. I bet he regrets that decision.

Starting with WoW 5.4, Ordos will only be accessible to players with the legendary cloak they get from Wrathion. If you have not earned said cloak, you will not be able to fight him.

If you have already earned the cloak on your main, Ordos will be open to fight on your alts who haven’t received it yet.

In WoW 5.4, players can expect to receive normal and normal warforged loot from Ordos. This might seem a little underwhelming, considering a legendary item is required to fight him, but it might be enough to boost your gearscore up enough to do a little bit of extra damage.
