This last line-up introduces a few surprise stars and a couple fans have been really clamouring for. So pretty much the same as every other week. So let’s get down to the action!

  • Baron Corbin
  • Big E
  • Bray Wyatt
  • Brian Pillman
  • Colin Cassady
  • Enzo Amore
  • Jey Uso
  • Jimmy Uso
  • Kofi Kingston
  • Konnor
  • Mark Henry
  • Mikey Whipwreck
  • Ricky Steamboat
  • Rusev
  • Savio Vega
  • Stephanie McMahon Helmsley
  • Sting (1999)
  • Sting (Blonde)
  • Stunning Steve Austin
  • Undertaker (American Badass)
  • Undertaker (Ministry)
  • Viktor
  • Xavier Woods

The new stars added to the game present a nice variety of old and new. You have the guys who are clearly there because of the Stone Cole Mode, i.e. Brian Pillman, Mikey Whipwreck and Savio Vega, but you also have NXT favorites Enzo Amore and Big Cass, as well as Bray Wyatt, Rusev, and The New Day. If your favorite Superstar or Diva is nowhere to be seen don’t fret, 2K will undoubtedly release a season pass and DLC wrestlers that may include any they’ve missed.

In other WWE 2K16 news, the above video is a trailer for the My Career mode in this year’s game. The mode was much anticipated last year due to being a requested feature for years, but it ultimately disappointed by being incredibly repetitive and featuring no real storylines. Fans were hoping for something like the career mode in 2004’s WWE Day of Reckoning on Gamecube.

The trailer for the improved mode shows a lot of promise.

In this revamped mode you will once again Create-A-Wrestler and start your journey in the Performance Center. From here you will make your way to NXT, then Raw and SmackDown, with the eventual goal of getting a place in the Hall of Fame. When you move from brand to brand is your choice this time around, and you can choose to stay in NXT for a long time. Additionally, reaching the Hall of Fame can be done in a variety of ways, including accomplishing challenges, which adds a new layer of depth to the mode.

Perhaps most interesting is the way you interact with other stars, which include running in during matches or choice-filled post-match interviews. The Authority will also play a huge role in the game, as they do in the real WWE, and you can choose to align yourself with them or fight the system! Each option has repercussions. 2K keeps on reiterating “choice” and “options” this year around, and those words are music to our ears.

Well, that’s it for the roster reveals for WWE 2K16. However, there will be more coverage in the final weeks leading up to the game’s October 27th release. You can check back in the very near future for an entire wrap-up of the entire roster, entrance videos, mode details and previews. So stay tuned to GameSkinny!
