Microsoft has shed more light on the Games with gold promotion. Starting with Fable 3 on June 10th, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download free games between now and the end of 2013. How this works is each new month will get 2 games scheduled for free download. The first will be available on the 1st – 15th and the second from the 16th to the end of the month. These are special, limited time offers so make sure you keep an eye out as to what is coming out when!
The Next set of Free Games
July will see the popular titles of Assasin’s Creed 2 and Halo 3 getting listed for free. July will be the first month to actually see 2 games, since June only saw the release of Fable 3 for free. All these games were big names upon their release but have been out for some time now. I’m not sure if that is the criteria for the unannounced upcoming games for the remainder of 2013 or just a coincidence. All I can say for certain is I will be keeping a close eye on future updates on this promotion. I just hope they don’t start out big and go small.
