Xbox One 2015 Lineup Could Help 2016 Out

The Xbox One has great games slated for the end of this year and 2015. But what about 2016?

November is upon us and video game companies will be getting things ready for the Thanksgiving and December rush. It looks like Microsoft won’t have a problem for this fall/holiday rush and the same can be said for the 2015 holiday window.

2015 looks strong with the likes of Halo 5: Guardians and Rise of the Tomb Raider hitting store shelves. Those are two of the bigger games that people are looking forward to during 2015 but there will be more games coming out that players will want to get their hands on. Beggars can’t be choosers and with the launch window of the Xbox One not blowing people away, they have to gain the money back somehow and that’s where the games come in.

2015 could be such a boom for Microsoft that games might get bumped just to give players a chance to breathe. It will also give people time to get more money so they can buy more games. There will be so many good games coming in 2015, that just by sheer numbers, some games will have to bumped to the following calendar year. Now, if Rare can get Banjo Kazooie back to the way it was and not that garbage they became, then people will be more receiving of this news.

This news could be just what the Xbox One needs or it could be an issue owners will not be too keen to hear. On one hand, it shows that companies are working hard all year and trying not to step on each others toes.

It also shows that the higher-ups want all the good games to get ample time in a gamers library. On the other hand, gamers might see this as a smack in the face that the companies know that the beginning of a gaming year is weak and games that are ready to be released are bumped/delayed for no other reason than just the rest of the month is weak. People hate when games that are ready to go get delayed for no reason but the same could be said about a weak launch window for a new system. Had the Xbox One launch been better, then system owners might have been a little more understanding with this news of the 2015-16 game library.
