Do you love Mahjong? Do you love World of Warcraft? If you fit into that demographic and live in China, then you’re in for an absolute treat.
NetEase, the publisher of WoW in China is taking preorders right now for a World of Warcraft Mahjong set.
This limited edition set costs the equivalent of around $210 (1,288 Chinese Yuan.) Only 1,000 sets are being made.
This isn’t the first time that World of Warcraft has been released in a traditional gaming form. There were two different Warcraft universe tabletop RPGs; one was based around Warcraft III and the other was WoW. There is also a board game, card game, and even a Monopoly set.
I have always wanted to learn how to play real Mahjong. I have only played the single player computer game version and never learned how to play the real deal. If I had the money, I would totally order this. Let’s hope that this WoW set somehow gets sold in the states.
